Reinforced control arm Suzuki Vitara with Johnny Joint

These reinforced rear control arm replace the original Suzuki Vitara struts without modification, are made of C45, galvanized and epoxy powder coated.

The adjustable attachment allows the installation of these control arm both on an original set-up and on a raised position where it is necessary to adjust the position of the rear deck, it is possible to move the rear axle back up to 40mm with consequent improvement in stability thanks to the extended wheelbase and an obvious improvement in the exit angle.

The control arm are complete with polyurethane bushings on the bridge attachment while the bush on the frame has been replaced by a JOHNNY JOINT spherical joint that can be completely overhauled and greased, made internally by HM4X4.

The Johnny Joint compared to a classic silentblock allows a greater twist of the strut, increasing mobility especially on high-excursion structures, thanks to the Jonny Joint the strut is no longer stressed by the torsion forces and the suspension is much more fluid and rapid in the movements .

The Johnny Joint is a joint with much more linear movements than a classic silentblock because it always rotates around a fixed point with an obvious improvement also on road stability.

For the construction of the Jonny Joint C45 steel is used and the sliding is guaranteed by two unprinted shells made from solid with a high quality semi-crystalline polymer, with high mechanical resistance and very low friction coefficient, the use of these materials it makes it practically wear-free even with extreme uses and allows precise movements and excellent absorption of vibrations.

Our Johnny Joint system was developed and tested during the Italian XTC championship with excellent results.
