Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT Dana 30 / Dana 44 Reinforced knuckles

Heavy Duty knuckles for Jeep Off-Road

REID Racing Heavy Duty reinforced knuckles for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT, designed for Dana 30 and Dana 44 Rubicon axles.

The new Jeep JL/JT Dana 30 and Dana 44 Rubicon knuckles are heavy-duty, direct OEM replacement knuckles.

The factory OEM knuckles are made of aluminum. Any demanding off-road use will, over time, cause ovalization of the ball joint bores and steering tie-rod tapers, resulting in dangerously loose and imprecise steering.

Reid Racing knuckles are manufactured from high-strength ductile iron and are virtually indestructible. This material is extremely rigid and ensures that ball joints and steering tie-rod ends remain securely seated.

Sold individually.

Compatible with OEM Jeep JL/JT brake rotors, brake calipers, outer axle shafts (stub shafts), and U-joints from model year 2018 onward.

Compatible with JL/JT Dana 30 axles, JL/JT Rubicon Dana 44 axles, as well as Mopar and aftermarket JL/JT axles.

Plug-and-play installation: direct bolt-on with no machining required.

Cast in steering stop prevents stop bolt bending common to OEM knuckles.

Allows the use of OEM or heavy-duty aftermarket axle shafts, U-joints/CV joints, and axle assemblies.

ABS, traction control, and electronic stability control systems remain fully functional.

Both knuckles have machined drag link arms so they can be used on right hand drive vehicles also.

Option – Flipped Drag Link

This option has the drag link taper machined from the top so that a flipped drag link can be used, putting the drag link on top of the steering arm. When the drag link is flipped, it gains height to correct the steering geometry for the common suspension lifts. This option requires a “flipped” drag link, available from many 4x4 part companies.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The flipped drag link option is not compatible with OEM Jeep suspension systems due to interference issues. Installation requires lift kits specifically designed for flipped drag link configurations and compatible drag links.

Additional chassis modifications may be required. It is strongly recommended to consult experienced off-road builders or specialized mechanics before purchasing or installing the knuckle with the flipped drag link option.
