The new Jeep Wrangler JK Dana 30 and Dana 44 Rubicon steering knuckles are OEM-replacement heavy-duty units engineered to deliver increased strength, reliability, and optimized steering geometry for demanding off-road and trail use.
Key upgrades include raised steering arms, integrated dual steering stops, and a reinforced structure, while maintaining a simple bolt-on installation that allows reuse of all factory external components (OEM outers).

Construction & Materials
- Manufactured from ductile (nodular) cast iron, an iron-carbon alloy in which graphite is present in spheroidal form rather than lamellar
- This material provides superior mechanical strength and increased ductility compared to conventional cast iron
- Reinforced structure with additional ribbing and extra material in critical stress areas
- Integrated dual steering stops cast into the knuckle, eliminating bolt flex and reducing the risk of U-joint and axle shaft failure
Steering & Mounting Points
- Tapered holes for OEM steering tie-rod ends
- Some aftermarket 1-ton steering tie-rod ends may require minor modifications
- Tie-rod mounting holes can be drilled out to accept 3/4 in tie-rod ends
