HM4X4 Power Steering Box Remanufacturing Service At HM4X4, we offer a professional power steering box remanufacturing service at a total cost of €230.00.A power steering box properly remanufactured by our technicians is restored to operating conditions equivalent to those of a new unit, within the limits of the original component’s condition and structural integrity.Before proceeding with the remanufacturing process, a preliminary inspection involving the opening of the power steering box is required in order to determine whether the unit can actually be rebuilt. A preliminary payment of €50.00 is therefore required. This amount covers the inspection, disassembly, and technical evaluation of the component.After the inspection: if the power steering box is found to be suitable for remanufacturing, the €50.00 will be deducted from the total cost, leaving a remaining balance of €180.00; if the power steering box is found to be not suitable for remanufacturing, the service cannot be carried out. In this case, the customer may request the return of the component, with shipping costs paid by the customer. The €50.00 will be retained as the cost of the preliminary inspection and technical evaluation performed. The remanufacturing process cannot eliminate any pre-existing structural defects of the power steering box, such as damage caused by incorrect installation, DIY modifications, impacts, or wear of other vehicle components (for example the power steering pump, hydraulic lines, or other elements of the steering system).Furthermore, certain faults or malfunctions cannot be detected during bench inspection and may only become apparent once the power steering box is installed on the vehicle and connected to its hydraulic circuit.
