Features
- The conical and diamond cut leaf springs ensure that the load is progressively distributed over a larger surface area, reducing the high stresses that develop at the ends of the leaf springs, increasing driving comfort and durability.
- The leaf spring clamps are bolted on to allow the installation of anti-squeak nylon covers.
- Fully chamfered to ensure that the spring has a permanent ‘settle’ which reduces the risk of failure.
- Load testing ensures that the spring meets the required specification.
- Military grade protective film designed to ensure added safety. Re-greasable, interlaminated nylon anti-friction pads reduce friction at the leaf spring tips, where the load is greatest.
- The flat surface of the axle seat allows for a safe and secure axle mount, reducing spring stress and increasing spring life.
- The tension side of all leaf springs is shot peened to reduce spring stress. This process can double the life of the spring.
